Lisa Wyss (Vinyasa Yoga)

Born and raised in Switzerland, I moved to the Netherlands five years ago to study saxophone at the Conservatory of Amsterdam.

As a musician I need a strong and healthy body to play my instrument, so I started Yoga to improve my posture and become free from muscle tension. Already after a few classes, I realized that I did not only get stronger and more flexible but I also started to become more aware of my body and my breath. My mind became more quiet and I was able to find a place where I could connect with myself.

I tried out different yoga styles, but when I discovered the Prana Vinyasa classes of Daphne Koken and Simon Rowe I was hooked! After a few years of following yoga classes, I spent a month in India to deepen my practice. After the 200hr Teacher Training with Johan Noorloos at De Nieuwe Yogaschool Amsterdam, I started following workshops and trainings with Shiva Rea, Coral Brown, Nianna Bray and Simon Park and I am currently finalizing the Prana Vinyasa Teacher Training.

Yoga helps me to find more balance in my life, to create space in my body and mind and to let the energy flow.

In my classes I invite you to connect with your body and breath, to move in a fluid and graceful way, to let prana flow, to explore your possiblities but also to be gentle and compassionate with yourself and to find harmony and peace within.
