A meditative yoga ritual to close the Glow Strong Challenge & connect with the returning of the light
To mark the closing of our Glow Strong Challenge, we invite you to a special member event with Roosmarijn: 108 Sun Salutations.
A powerful and meditative yoga ritual symbolising transformation, gratitude and new beginnings.
This practice takes place on Imbolc (1–2 February), the ancient festival of returning light. A moment in the year that marks the shift from winter towards spring. Not full bloom yet, but the first spark. The moment where intention is planted and inner fire begins to awaken.
Practicing 108 sun salutations during this time is a conscious way to pause, reflect and choose how you want to move forward. It invites clarity, commitment and alignment of body, breath and mind.
The number 108 is considered sacred in yogic and Vedic traditions and represents wholeness in the universe and in life itself:
1 for oneness
0 for emptiness
8 for infinity
Each sun salutation can be experienced as a prayer or mantra. With every round, you are invited to return to your intention, to express gratitude or to dedicate your effort (tapas) to what you wish to nourish or release.
Through repetition, breath and movement merge into a steady, meditative flow. The mind quiets, the body warms, and space is created to reconnect with what truly matters.
At the same time, this is a physically empowering practice that builds strength, flexibility and endurance, while creating space in the body and steadiness in the mind.
Together, in community, we complete the 108 sun salutations step by step, breath by breath. We close the practice with time to integrate, allowing intentions to settle and insights to land.
A ritual to close a challenge, welcome the returning light and step into February with clarity, intention and renewed energy.
