Spring is the season of awakening. After months of stillness, life begins to awaken. Gently at first, then with more vibrance and expansion. In yoga, this natural rhythm is called Spanda: the sacred pulse of life, the dance between stillness and movement, contraction and expansion.
This vinyasa yoga masterclass invites you to experience this pulse within yourself. Starting close to the earth, grounding with deep and nourishing hip openers, like seeds resting in the soil, gathering energy. From there, we gradually rise and move, flowing through fluid sequences that create space, dynamic transitions that build warmth, and heart-opening backbends that invite expansion. The practice mirrors nature’s rhythm: shifting from stillness to movement, from contraction to blossoming, from winter’s heaviness into the lightness of spring.
We close with meditation on renewal, allowing space to fully absorb the energy of the practice and step into the new season with clarity and openness.
