A vinyasa teacher training weekend for teachers wanting to explore the mythology and embodiment of Shakti through Vinyasa practice.
The myths and stories of Hindu mythology offer us a great treasure of inspiration for our own personal growth and transformation.
During this 25 hr teacher immersion we will explore different aspects of Shakti, the Goddess of Yoga. We will embody her power & courage, love & abundance, wisdom & creativity and explore ways to integrate these qualities in our daily lives as well as on our teacher journey.
During this teacher intensive, we will work with three different aspects of Shakti:
-The Warrior Goddess – Durga
-The Goddess of Love – Lakshmi
-The Goddess of Wisdom – Saraswati
There will be space for philosophical background, embodiment through asana practice, guided meditations, writing, sharing and teaching labs. We will investigate the different aspects of the Goddess, explore how we can embody these qualities as vinyasa yoga teachers and how we can create Shakti Vinyasa sequences to inspire our students on a deeper, more subtle level.

Course Essentials
- 3 Shakti Vinyasa Embodiment practices (a variety of practices)
- Daily meditation and Pranayama & mantra practice.
- Philosophical background/mythology of Shakti.
- Writing and sharing circles
- Teaching skills & teaching labs
